Today’s email is a little different. If you’ve ever wanted to hear me talk about fandom, you can today! I was a guest on Jessica Murnane’s podcast called INSIDE + OUTSIDE.
Jessica is wonderful. We found each other on LinkedIn (which takes me back to 2010 Twitter where I made so many friends). We begin the conversation with Jessica telling me that if we were both on the show Survivor, she would go with me until the end. Need I say more?
We also discuss fandom and why I think people are fans of people and things and places that not everyone “gets.” We also talk about my first outside memory (lake monsters) and what I’m a huge fan of (Zingerman’s Community of Businesses). We cover some of my strong opinions on Sustack, too. We really covered a lot.
