What we love matters.
Huge Fan is about how that love becomes business, community, and belonging. It’s a look behind the scenes of modern fandom.
I won’t be writing and talking about what people like. I want to focus on what people love and what that love leads to: business, personal meaning, social connection, economic value, ritual, identity, and more.

“Fandom refers to the structures and practices that form around pieces of popular culture. It's a very old, very human phenomenon; acting in fanlike ways is probably as ancient as culture itself. History is filled with tales of pilgrimages - traveling to a place, not for its aesthetic or economic value, but simply to feel close to something important.” - Superfandom
I’m Allie Lehman, founder of Wonderly, a creative agency that helps digital-first creators own everything: their brand, their site, and the connection to their audience.
I’ve also been a huge fan of fandom itself ever since I signed up for the Scottie Pippen fan club in grade school because my best friend was a super fan. Like I said, what we love matters. To ourselves and to other people.
Huge Fan is for anyone curious about how we love things and how that love shapes culture. Whether you are building a brand, launching a membership, or just fascinated by fandom like me, I hope you enjoy your time here.
